If it works for you and it's clear to you, then that's what matters.

There was a bug related to deleting an account and getting stuck in
un-editable scheduled transactions, but this has been fixed.
The bug described here seems serious enough (if you're stuck in a
situation where you can't even delete the transaction).
Can you open a bug, and show us exactly how

Hello everyone,
Running v3.902 on Windows 10 64bit here and have a question. When I select
Tools | Online Banking Setup and click to "Start AqBanking Wizard" nothing
happens. The dialog doesn't launch the way it had previously.
I'm wondering if it's just me. Can anyone else reproduce this
I can't delete or de-activate.
I get the message Couldn't parse sx-debit-formula for split "" and when
closed the message Unparsable formula in split, split with memo has an
unparseable debit formula

Hi,
Unfortunately Actions > Check and Repair> All Transactions doesn't work.
This arrived around last october when i update from 2.6.x (i don't remenber
exactly) to the last gnucash on flathub. And now i have made some new
updates to the last gnucash version on flathub at this day.
I will try to

I seem to recall that there was a time in the early days of releases 2.4.x
or 2.2.x when GnuCash generated some scheduled transactions for me that
were similarly un-repairable. I don't remember the details, but I think
that I needed to edit the XML data file with a special text editor that

The default installation of GnuCash on Windows 10 has the ability to move the

Dear Gnucash Community,
Sorry if I missed this in the documentation, but is it possible to use
the CSV importer for security (stock) transactions? When I attempt to
import a CSV file into a security account, in the drop-down menu to

I like to have the bar inverted, you can fiddle with the colors to your

Matthew,
This is certainly possible with V3.x in GnuCash. What version are you using
and on what OS?
You may have to use the scroll bar to locate the column with the price
information. The headers you can assign to a given column in the import data
include Price in the drop down list. While
Hello,
After a botched csv import, I have a bunch of empty transactions that are
marked read-only. I can't delete them; the explanation is that they have
been voided. I tried the Unvoid Transaction menu on one of them, with
no success. It did nothing.
I guess I could export the database as
Hello, Philippe:
I understand that:
1. You have an error message when scheduled transactions occur
2. You understand from previous messages on this list that the problem
is due to how the decimal separator (1,00 vs 1.00) is stored in
scheduled transactions,
3. you might be able to fix the
I'm coming back with this problem because it is still here.
Nobody can help me ?

Your major design challenge is to decide how and why you'll link these
completely separate transactions together. It does not seem necessary to
use business features (AP/AR) for them. So, you have no internal links to
marry up the 4 transactions.
However these are (hopefully) regular transactions
FWIW, after further research on SIPPs I think I have the "correct" solution
for how to manage them in GnuCash. Basically, keep them in their own
GnuCash file separate from your other assets.

Hello Jim,
thanks for your answer and your time.
You are right for points 1,2 and 3.
For the point 4 i can edit the transactions, but i can't make any change !
