We have just installed gnupg-1.4.8 on Sparc/Solaris 10. Is it possible to use
gpg to encrypt a file using private key and passphrase (under program
control) and send it to a remote user ? The remote user should be able to
decrypt the file with the public key sent by us.

Good afternoon,
I am having a question is the GnuPG 1.4.7 version working with PGP 6.5.2?
One of our customers is using GnuPG 1.4.7 and we are using PGP 6.5.2 and
now we got problems with decrypting the message?
Could you please tell me if both versions are working with each other?
Thank you
Hi!
We are pleased to announce the availability of Dirmngr version 1.0.2.
Dirmngr is a server for managing and downloading certificate
revocation lists (CRLs) for X.509 certificates and for downloading the
certificates themselves. Dirmngr also handles OCSP requests as an
alternative to CRLs.

As I understand it, PGP 8's license agreement does not allow for it to
be hosted anywhere other than pgp.com. This means that obtaining it
from zedz is a copyright violation, and probably should not

happy with it. But I would like to try GnuPG 2, and since I am on
windows, I have to use gpg4win (since it is really unlikely I am going
to compile it myself). But gpg4win comes

Am I right using the option --openpgp, a DSA2 key can be created
