gpg --import-options import-drop-uids not available?

Hello, I see this option being added here: http://git.gnupg.org/cgi-bin/gitweb.cgi?p=gnupg.git;a=commit;h=8e83493dae426fe36a0e0081198b10db1e103ff1 However it doesn't seem to have been released as of 2.2.19. Is there a reason this still hasn't been released? Thanks, Jonathan
