INTENSIVE REVISION OF ELECTORAL ROLL FOR 2006

GOA STATE
The draft electoral rolls of all the forty Assembly Constituencies
of Goa State are available for inspection and scrutiny by the
members of the public from 23.01.2006 till 22.02.2006 in the
premises of the respective Polling Stations, in the Post Offices
and in the Offices of the Deputy Collectors and Mamlatdar of Pernem, Tiswadi,
Bardez, Bicholim, Sattari,Ponda, Salcete, Mormugao,
Quepem, Sanguem and Canacona Talukas.
All the members of the public and the Political Parties of the
Goa State are therefore requested to check the said draft Electoral Rolls and
to take steps to get the names included or corrected
by filling the Form 6, Form 8 and also in Form 7 and 8A, as the
case may be, for which the time limit is upto 22.02.06.
All the forms i.e. Form 6 (for inclusion of name),
Form 7 (for objecting inclusion of name in the draft roll
and also seeking deletion of name included in the final roll),
Form 8 (for correction to particulars entered in the roll) and
Form 8A (for transposition of entry in any other part of the
roll of the same constituency) are available with the designated officers at
the Polling Stations, in the Post Offices and in the concerned Offices of the
Deputy Collectors and Mamlatdars.
All claims and objections received in aforementioned forms,
for the period from 23.01.2006 till 22.02.2006 will be duly considered and
disposed of by the concerned Deputy Collectors / Electoral Registration
Officers in accordance with the provisions
of the Registration Officers in accordance with the provisions
of the Registration of Electors Rules, 1960, by 20.03.2006
