Emirates, one of the worlds fastest growing international airlines, will start services between Dubai and Indias Thiruvananthapuram International Airport from 1st February 2006. On the same day, the airline will also boost services to two other major Indian cities - Cochin and Chennai.
The added flights will also benefit the large population of expatriates from Indias southern states living and working in the U.A.E. Emirates, from next month will operates 57 non-stop flights a week between Dubai and India 19 to Mumbai, seven to Delhi, 8 to Chennai, 7 to Cochin, 8 to Thiruvanantpuram (Trivandreum) and 8 to Hyderabad. ------------------------------------------- As from April 1, 2006, it will start its new service to GOA its seventh Indian destination (2 being in Kerala alone). 3 times a week increasing to 7 by the end of the year.
