In the aftermath of the last July 26 deluge one wonders whether any lessons have been learnt or corrective steps been taken to avoid a repeat.
With the monsoon fast approaching, Mumbai and its suburbs are in a vulnerable state. Be it Colaba, Dadar, Borivili or Kurla it's dug up all over with trenches galore. The city must see controlled development especially in potential flood zones while it equips itself with a proper disaster management system. Mumbai is a very potent city and is India's happening place despite the bar dancing girls having 'officially' left.
