This is just a correction on the article. ".In South Kanara there are two dominant language groups: Konkani and Tulu. Kanada is just the state,s language. " Actually the major language in the South Kanara is Tulu ... this region is usually is referred to as Tulunadu (consisting of Udupi, Managalore and Kasargod district of Kerala), Kannada is another major language in this area.. Konkani is an important language, but NOT a dominant language in South Kanara, it probably represents around 10 to maybe 15% of the population. Kannada although state language of Karnataka is spoken by almost all of the residents of South Kanara. In South Kanara, a person whose mother tongue is Tulu, Konkani, Malayalee, Tamil, Hindi, etc would know Kannada.
