The Mhadei/Mandovi river basin spans 1580 sq km, nearly half
the Goa's total 3702
That public statement by Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant that henceforth
all selection for Government jobs would be on merit is a clear admission of
guilt that over the last ten years merit was never the criteria. Though
belated, it is better late than never.
