If we are speaking about spelling or sound, pl. note the word 'Konkanni' (repeated 6 times) in the mail below is one such example as 'Paltadacho', a non-standardized word. It's sad that Konkani in the roman script is written in the manner one pleases and definitely needs to be standardized. Ami

When I met Shetgoankar during the Toronto International Film Festival, I had asked him regarding the Konkani spoken in the film. If I remember correctly, he said that there are two dialects of Konkani in the film, one with Karwari accent and inflection and the other with non-Catholic Bardezi.
