The Amsterdam India Festival runs November 12 - 30, 2008 in Amsterdam,
Netherlands
In partnership with the Foundation for Indian Artists, Canvas International
Art presents an exhibition by the Indian artist Subodh Kerkar from November
15 - December 6, 2008.
Kerkar works with a range of mostly natural materials such as shells, palm
leaves and used wooden fishing boats. He creates impressive installations on
the beaches of Goa and in photographing them creates a new work of art.
Subodh Kerkar's work straddles the dividing line between land and sea. The
exhibition will include installations, boat sculptures and photographs.
