Hi Leander,
I join Balbir Singh-ji in congratulating you on your golden triumphs at the
Doha Asiad. You wont believe it, but I was at the Goa Ground Zero - around
the Bhot Avelino Mansion in Tollecanto - which erupted into a wild
celebration when Leander won his second gold medal at the Asiad ! Perhaps
Aunty Marlaq and Uncle Dr. Pedro Antonio Paes were smiling down from up
above ! I could feel the pulse of the place and Leander you should be proud
that the whole of Tollecanto, Velim, Salcete, Goa and India were behind you
and rooting for you and your partners all the way ! I can only imagine the
scene at the Calcutta Ground Zero in the Beck Bagan neighbourhood ! Once
again you have proved that you are the ultimate comeback kid ! We are all
very proud of you ! Whats next ? A Grand Slam in mens doubles in 2007 ?
