DEMOCRACY REDUCED TO POLITICIANS WHIMS AND FANCIES Take the Goa Governors for example.The Centre will decide based on political considerations whom to appoint. From the previous Goa Governors, one ruled that she is not a political employee and therefore does not come under RTI. Another ruled that construction of a new Raj Bhavan plan of the BJP government was imprudent, irrational and un necessary. The present incumbant is emphatic that Governors are bound to furnish information to the people who are supreme in a democracy and hereafter RTI will be available to all citizens!However he gives the nod to the CM to go ahead with construction of a new Raj Bhavan! The peoples opinion is only important at the next elections?Amit Shah's visit to Goa reportedly brought out more than enough money for the government to quickly fix the Darbandora, Dabolim to Panaji roads through which his convoy had to pass!
