ETHICAL CONSIDERATIONS IN THE BANKING SECTOR
The Department of Commerce, St. Xavier's College of Arts, Science & Commerce,
Mapusa, Goa, in collaboration with GCCI (Goa Chamber of Commerce and
Industry) is organizing a one day State Level Seminar on "Ethical
Considerations in the Banking Sector" on 27th September, 2006, from 9:00 a.m.
to 5:00 p.m. in the College Campus.
The Seminar will deliberate on the ethical implications in banking practices
on the common man. It will address consumer complaints regarding fake
promises to attract customers, false billing, over-billing, exorbitant
charges, etc.
The Seminar is open to all teachers of Schools and Higher Secondary Schools,
and lecturers from Colleges and the General Public. Registration fee of
Rs.150/- per participant will be charged, which will include participation
fee, lunch and refreshments and seminar material.
