It has been reported by the NGO named ADR [ Association for Democratic Reforms], people who are on National Election Watch, that our Goa's MPs have let Rupees 17 crores meant for Goa's development fund lie un-utilized which could make a lot of difference for our small sized Goa..
As per the Gadgil formula, Goa receives on Rs. 500 to 800 crores per year of the Rs. 20,000 odd crores of taxed revenues which are siphoned from Goa to develop other states in the Indian Union. The Rs. 17 crores above could have helped in a small way to bridge the gap in Goa. But our MPs have been found non-performing. Therefore, the people of Goa must, in this coming election, vote for new persons who are raring to go for Goa.
