But the fault lies squarely with us Goans. We have become callous to our surroundings, and have left our doors unsecured. Other than JoeGoaUk there was not a single response to assisting me on the Panjim URL. Rest easy guys, for the garbage will one day pile up at your own doorstep, and it will be too late to do anything about it. Comments : Camilo Fernandes Rajan's comments made very interesting reading. It is the callous attitude of we Goans that is leading to Goa's destruction. We have to be vigilant to anyone and anything that is destroying Goa. Generally we turn a blind eye to garbage in others' backyards but are very concerned if the same thing happens in our own backyard and take immediate action. If only the same concern is there jointly immediately by all to see that Goa is not spoilt, then only can Goa be saved. I too appreciate JoeGoaUk for his write ups and the numerous interesting photos that he regularly sends. Action is more important than words and when need arises all patriotic Goans should come together for the common good to expose the wrongdoings. No matter where a Goan is based whether in Goa or abroad we all love Goa, we will always be Goans and have interests of Goa in our hearts. To be a patriot it is not essential to be based in Goa only. After all DIL HAI GOANESE. Keep up the good work JoeGoaUk and Rajan!!!
