Anna Maria always provokes some discussion.

I have been to Gujerat several times.  Has Anna Maria been there, or talking
through "chepem" as usual ?

As  for priest going to foreign countries.......let me describe a very posible
scenario.
I spent many decades in the USA where there is a severe shortage of Catholic
priests.  Many parishes now have priests from foreign countries and Goan and
Keralite priests.
Because of the shortage of priests, many parish priests cannot take a vacation
(usually in the summer months of June to August) because there is no one to
substitute for them in their absence.  So many  Goan and other Indian priests
are invited as guest parish priests.  Their air fare is paid for by the parish
and  their
remuneration is many many times what they earn in Goa.  Plus, many parishioners
invite these guest priests over, give them monetary gifts etc.
Anybody who sacrifices his life to the priesthood deserves to earn some money
for his late years.  Priests are human and they deserve some comforts in life.
While they are taken care of in retirement here in Goa,  in special retirement
clergy homes, they live in relative penury.  Let them earn some extra money.
You have a problem with that ?.
