With the Women singles finals played the previous evening, four matches were lined up on the final day:
1. Men's Singles - Parteek Mahajan(1) vs Floyd Araujo(2) 2. Mixed Doubles - Sunny Sawant/ Pranjal Chimulkar(4) vs Navneet Nasnodkar/ Anushka Kuvelkar 3. Veterans 45+ Doubles - Rohan Panandikar/ Ayub C.K(1) vs Oscar Silveira/ Leonel Fernandes(2) 4. Men's Doubles - Sunny Sawant/ Navneet Nasnodkar(1) vs Floyd Araujo/ Darwin Barreto(3) Floyd Araujo emerged Men’s Singles champions with top seed Parteek Mahajan conceding the match to him due to a ligament injury which he suffered during the Mixed doubles semis. Floyd will now begin the next tournament as number one seed. The next match, the mixed doubles, was the match of the day, an engrossing contest which went the full distance. Anushka Kuvelkar, who has played at the National level in juniors, was partnering Navneet Nasnodkar while Pranjal Chimulkar, who too has been in good nick, partnering Sunny Sawant. The first two sets saw plenty of errors from both sides and a see saw battle. With the set scores tied at one set a piece, the match finally gained momentum in the third set and went neck and neck till 13 points each. But Sunny & Pranjal prevailed with some inspired play towards the end to register an upset 21-11, 14-21, 21-16 win over Navneet & Anushka, the West Zone Mixed doubles runners up of last season. In Veterans 45 + Doubles, top seeds Rohan Pai Panandikar and Ayub C.K. were in cruise control all through as they registered a confident 21-17, 21-15 win over second seeds Oscar Silveira and Leonel Fernandes. In the last match of the day, the Men’s doubles, top seeds Navneet Nasnodkar and Sunny Sawant won their first doubles title together as a pair with a tense 21-19, 21-16 win over their compatriots Floyd Araujo and Darwin Barreto. Pranjal Chimulkar and Sunny Sawant won double crowns each. Mr. Devansh Raghuvanshi(Manager, Bharat Petroleum), Mr. Gaurish Dhond(Organizing President), Mr. Richard D' Souza(President, GBA), Mr. Narahar Thakur(Secretary, GBA), GBA Officials Sandeep Heble, Sarfraz Sheikh, Laxmikant Kenaudikar and Luciano Soares graced the occasion. The championship was conducted by SAG coaches Roy Athaide and Vinayak Kamat who were assisted by Tukaram Kalangutkar, Deepak Mayekar, Luciano Soares, Manish Pankania, Ajinkya Savant and Rhea Mallya in the finals.
