Dear GoaNetters, Today, January 15, is the 91st birthday of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. (MLK), which will be celebrated this coming Monday. It's a federal holiday in the U.S., but it is designated as a day of service and opportunities abound.
I'm inviting you to check out this program on YouTube: *Meet The Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.* <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X07wQyAMRYE&feature=youtu.be>The presenter who portrays Dr. King is the internationally recognized minister and orator, the Reverend Dr. John Moore. After watching the program today, it definitely offers a lot to everyone, especially the young at heart. The Rev. Dr. Moore is inspirational, and my colleague Missy McNatt is a marvelous host for this young learners program. If you decide to watch the program, be sure to stay for the Q&A. It starts around 9:45 with Missy speaking so don't be concerned if the program doesn't begin right away. "An eye for an eye leaves everybody blind," a quote from Mahatma Gandhi whom Dr. King credits as a mentor. Wishing you peace of mind in these turbulent times, Judy Luis-Watson Maryland, U.S. -- *"Music fills the infinite between two souls."
