DESCRIPTION : The national costume is themed around kamasutra and ayuveda celebrating india sculpture and affinity to nature. A high fashion hairstyle piece was created to represent the Qutub minar. The Silhouette of the outfit is a fusion of an Indian dhoti and a nude body. The dhoti represents the simplicity of people in their association with nature and hold an orange colour representing a spiced Indian curry. The body suit represent a nude Indian woman's body, that should be respected as a temple. The Khajurao temple is created upon the body suit. This body suit holds custom handmade Indian sculptures to represent the various chapters of the Kamasutra and the life of Alankrita. Through this costume Melvyn unveiled the truth that Contrary to popular belief, the kamasutra is not just an exclusive sexy manual, but is a guide to acquiring a virtuous and gracious family life. The continuing chakra represents the western ghats of India and ayurveda having the different state fruits, flowers, birds. The monuments too are represented with digital art. A Gda in the hand completes the look representing Hanuman's quest of finding the life giving herb.
