Post elections the temperatures seem to drop
Inspite of soaring summer temperatures ,the atmosphere is calm and cool post elections. At least tonight the candidates and their supporters have good night sleep. The fate is sealed. The candidates are waiting in bathed breadth hoping the victory will be in their favour.Till results are declared every candidate is a potential winner. The tensions of guarding the ballot boxes results in anxietiesof sleepless nights.Cameras and sealed rooms are no guarantees that can be relied upon .Hence the vigilant groups of candidates maintain 24x7 watch .Past rumours of tampering with ballot boxes, switching with doctored ones ,and ballotboxes with votes were found strewn over. Results or otherwise accusations will fly thick and thin of tampering by the loosers . Recounts provides little hope unless the margin is thin..Postal votes often tilt the margins. .The official declaration will prevail unless challenged in the court of law. The winners will vouch for fairness and lovers will suspect the authencity of victory.
