UNDERMINING JUSTICE The report and subsequent interview of Justice (Retd) P.K.Misra who served in the Human Rights body and then as Lokayukta of Goa is shameful! So is the Supreme Court observation in the Hathras episode as "horrible". Our nation has been firmly divided in violence,hate and suspicion with Centre trying to rule with an iron hand using police, enforcement agencies against any dissent. With Parliament reduced to a notice board, no discussion with Opposition or those it affects, the ordinances and bulldozed Acts passed. It is disgraceful that farmers are agitating in some states and non BJP states planning to not follow it! The Gulleli panchayat has refused noc for compound wall for government planned IIT project. Using the CBI,police, enforcement agencies on the Opposition and anyone who dissents to rule with an iron hand is not democracy or in our nations interest. Disatisfaction, violence, corruption and injustice perpetration results. The nation needs to unite to fight Covid, economic depression,skyrocketing prices, and China Pakistan threatening our borders and lives where the "have nots" suffer the most, The PM will have to realize this sooner than later and reverse the majoritarian and undemocratic way of governing in vogue today!
