THEY ARE….. A Portuguese man (BRANCO) takes his seat at FIFA world cup final in Brazil. BRANCO looks to his right and notices that there is a spare seat between himself and the next sitting Brazilian man (RIVARDO):-
BRANCO: Who is this person, who is missing the FIFA World Cup Final? RIVARDO: That was my wife's seat. We have been to the last six World Cup Finals together. BRANCO: So why she didn’t come today? RIVARDO: (Weeping) She passed away. BRANCO: Oh... that's terrible, I am so sorry to hear that, but very sweet of you to have her here symbolically by having a vacant seat. RIVARDO: Thank you. BRANCO: But, these are very expensive tickets; couldn't you have brought another family member, friend or someone else with you? RIVARDO: No...they are all at her funeral!
