After growing up in Switzerland, THIERRY BLANC thierry.bl...@gmx.ch got interested in religion, and came to Dharamsala (India) to study Buddhism. Around 1998, his attention was drawn to attempts by Steve Jobs to use the image of Gandhi to sell his products. He wrote a 4 page open letter to Steven Jobs then! From that, he shifts to his encounter with GNU/Linux, the console, frustrations of the Free Software kind, studying FLOSS in India... and also his growth in the field. Also his attempts at using Free Software as a newspaper layout tool.
