I got many phone calls on the Sunday morning asking me if I have read the NT -Panorama.
"Not yet" - I said. "What's the big deal?" "Lambert Mascarenhas has re-invented the almost 9 years old wheel - read it" they told me. So I read. And yes, it was the re-inventing of the wheel that was invented by Goa Su-Raj Party in the year 2000, late by (almost) 9 years. 'Ring Ring' ((0832) 2453759 " Hello Maam. Will you pick up the phone? 'Floriano' 'Lambert, man! I know you are very much well because I have read your excellent article in the NT- Panorama. Well done indeed. 'Aik re' I had mentioned your name along with Dr. Francisco Colaco, Dr. Oscar Rebello. But they have not published. 'Lambert' you must grow up in you old age. Your beloved NT will never publish floriano's name for the reason that floriano called its editor a dog on the Dempo's chain. "But floriano, I have also sent the article to Goa Today. Hopefully Vinaik will publish the whole thing. "And you have missed sending it to the Goan Observer?" Never mind that Lambert, but I am happy that you have been busy re-inventing the wheel I handed to you in 2005. YOu have done well. 'Aik re' You must do the needful now of getting Goans together. But Lambert, I have been trying to do just that since the year 2000. I want you people, who have had so much high hopes for Liberated Goa, to do things now. I am tired, really. Besides, I have so many other things to do, especially trying to put some food on my and my wife's plate in the evenings (atleast) which is becoming increasingly difficult with straight dealings. BTW Lambert " when did you pick up the two booklets to go thro' them which I handed over to you, prior to my contesting the Taleigao Elections in 2005? Must have been just sort of yesterday as what is reflected in your beautiful article is what is in those two booklets. 'Aik re' Goa is sinking. You must do something. Lambert ! 'You will never change ! " Say 'we must do something'. I want you, who liberated Goa and who were the first editor of NT to do something, NOW! YOU HAVE STARTED WELL. ONLY KEEP IT UP. But I needed to congratulate you for this mind-bogling realisation which must have detached from the backside of your brains and asserted itself through your pen.
