Topic : WATER-WARS Due To ILLEGAL MIGRANTS, CORRUPTION, SKYSCRAPERS & SLUMS
The Corruption in Collectors office and Bombay Muncipal Corporation, the Partnership between Builders - Slumlords - Politicians - Police - Mafia - Muncipal Officials - Administration, the growth of Slums where illegal migrants live who are given free water connections because they are the vote banks of all Political parties, the water wastage due to leakages - thefts - illegal connections, the increase in constructions of skyscrapers - shopping malls - mhada buildings - sra buildings - residential/commercial buildings/complexes are some of the main reasons why Bombay is facing a severe water shortage during the last 5 years. In the last 15 years no new Water Projects have been commissioned as a result Bombay has been receiving around 3000 MLD ( million liters per day ) of Water whereas the demand is of 5000 MLD of Water. The Maharashtra Government and the Bombay Muncipal Corporation don't have any Plans on how they can bring an extra 2000 MLD of Water into Bombay due to which the Water Shortage which results in fights will continue in Bombay for many more years or maybe Forever.
