very simple. We cannot willy-nilly say no to infrastructure or
industry. What we can do is hold them accountable to ecological and
conservation standards as decided upon by Goans.

As to administrtive jobs created by ZAC, it is time Goans got

No can do Selma, No can do. The 'babus' in charge of the various
agencies are non-Goans, have no clue of Goa and care even less for
anything but self-preservation, self-enrichment and more and more poxe
...

So ...which standards decided upon which Goans?

BTW: Are you suggesting that Goa waits to see IF the ecology and the
environment is degraded - so that you can "hold them accountable"?

Do you not know that individuals like Dr. Claude Alvares have been
crying hoarse from the 1970s about the Zuari chemicals and dead Goa
fish? what is it Goans must wait for .....the entire water table to be
sucked up ....or worse still ...'chemicalised'?

Have you been keeping excessive company with Mario and Gilbert or what?

Samir, on the other hand, is making a very crucial point. That is the
ONLY way forward for Goans. Yep ...I can say it any better - so I will
only repeat what Samirbab has written: "Goans also need to buck up and
get trained as well as work much harder if they have to survive in
today's world.:
