Dear Paulites,Josephites and Friends, This is to inform you that Fr Rui de Menezes who is a Paulite (1957) has just completed his 9th book ""wisdom Traditions of Israel"."Wisd Fr Rui is a Jesuit priest with a Licentiate in Philosophy from Jnana Deepa Vidyapeeth, Pune,A Masters and a Doctorate in Theology from Innsbruck University Austria.He did his modern Hebrew studies in Jerusalem, Arabic in Beirut ,Scriptural Studies at the Pontifical Biblical Institute, Rome and is known for his mastery both over modern European Languages as well as Hebrew and New testament Greek.He is a Professor of the Old Testament and Hebrew both in India and abroad for over 40 years. This is a very insightful book ,since the Wisdom Teachers do not base their arguments on Divine authority but on life experience and personal observation.The book will appeal not only to students of the Bible but also to all people of good will,interested in improving the quality of their life.
