Ii am so glad to see Goans rising up at the grassroots to protest projects
surreptiously approved and foisted on them without due process with palms
surely being greased along the way to ensure approval of the projects - laws,
regulations and environmental concerns be damned.

I hope that instead of a "Government of the Politicians, By the Politicians
and For the
Politicans" Goa will slowly but surely get a "Government of the People, by
the People and for the People". Let the revolution begin !
The refrain by the Politicians will always be that the so called "rabble
rousers" who are in truth slowly awakening law abiding citizens, are
"anti-development". Nothing can be further from the truth. On the basis of pie
in the sky promises of "jobs for everyone" schemes are devised, to benefit
primarily the powers that be, while pulling the wool over the vaunted ":aam
admi".
I hope and pray that Goans finally wake up from their stupor.
