Perhaps, if we all examined our conscience and followed the path of righteousness we would be living in paradise. However, the reality is different. My last visit to Goa left me with the impression that deceit and corruption has crept into many of the institutions which we regarded in my youth (1940's) as being honest and upright. But then who will cast the first stone? Perhaps a new age is yet to dawn and once again we hope the youth with their compassion and ideals will prevail. Sadly, the old are beyond redemption because it has entered the body politic. We hope that we can ask for those who believe they are clean and chase will stand up to be counted.
