Dear All,
At the onset , my sincere sympathise go with this minor girl and her
family.I would only request every individual in Goa to protect and
respect the dignity not only the tourists but every women in Goa and GOA
at large. We have been seen as very hospitable and helpful etc etc but
that should not give wrong signals to many in misunderstanding the word
hospitable to the extent of running and walking over Goans by commiting
such vulgar attrocities no way!!!!!!
To my Goan brothers, sisters , families be vigilant on the beaches and
other places when we notice something fishy taking place ,we as Goans
are very hospitable , get united and ensure to protect and safeguard
the interest of the tourists , protect the name of Goa and Goans which
is sadly and unfortunately being smacked with negative remarks and a
total shame to us.
let's not wait for a much unfortuante incident to happen and then blame
the cops or Govt of Goa for not doing much , each and every one of us
be it Goenkar/ Non-Goenkar has a social and a moral responsibility in
doing away with such incidents, let's not give a blind eye , for today
it is the Russian tourist tommorrow god forbid it could be one of our
friends and so forth.
