True bro. I knew that during (and even before) the Emergency, on seeing
what happened to my Dad. He was in the Shiv Sena union. Was late once to
work in 41.5 years and that too to attend a union meeting. The union sold
him out, but, but I still nod the Sainiks.

Ot you saying Ven. Ot I am saying, is way too many of know shit from
shinola. Yet, many of you have done well financially; and many among those
see reality differently. Not all, remember, so do not get creamed by saying
something daft. I love the ones in Goa who say they worked for the World
Bank, Unicef, UNESCO, and other U know whats. Most of them are a difference
breed of “sanctus.”.

This is just one small, tiny, tiny, tiny reason why I say we Goans are not
homogenous; pretend as the haves, and “labor of love” be. Belabor that! I
could write a book on this. But my journey in through the arts. And some of
you know how that is playing out. Chortle, chortle.
