There also is the possibility that this is a forum by and for grumpy old men. 
The main activity here is to post a link to take one away from the site. 

In this regard, I think Goan women are a step ahead, they are already 
contributing to more interesting sites.

And when I say contributing, I really mean contributing i.e. they present their 
own views and not links to music or the Bible.
