Currently, the f23 stable repository provides
kubernetes-1.2.0-0.18.git4a3f9c5.fc23 build. Far from 0.17. At the same time
the docker has been updated many times.

If the issue still persists, please reopen the bug. Closing for now.

kube-apiserver needs the directory as well (--cert-dir="/var/run/kubernetes")
[1].

As kube-apiserver service is run under kube user and kubelet can be installed
on the same host, the owner of the directory must be kube. Contrib is already
covering that [2]. So, only the ownership of the directory is really missing.

metadata:

spec:
  containers:
  - name: test
image: busybox
volumeMounts:
- name: "test-volume"

command:

  securityContext:
seLinuxOptions:

SecurityContextDeny must be removed from /etc/kubernetes/apiserver to enable

We can built the consul for epel7. However, epel7 has almost no golang package
built currently. Branches are created, just to be filled they need to be.

I would suggest to update the consul in Fedora rawhide first, then continue
with epel7.

The content of the images really should be up to the image authors.

On the other hand, bug 1283891 and bug 1331781 show that having the VOLUMEs

Docker is maintained and supported on RHEL7.

This will not get fixed. Still, you can open a customer case to escalate it.

[Bug 1192081] Modify base image Dockerfile to enable systemd to run smoothly

2016-06-07 Thread bugzilla
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1192081

Dan,

what is the minimal execution environment for systemd? The ENV container=docker
that the comment 0 asks for does not seem to be present in current
fedora:rawhide, for example:

# docker run -ti --rm fedora:rawhide bash -c 'set | grep container'
BASH_EXECUTION_STRING='set | grep container'

Also the /run and /tmp VOLUMEs do not seem to be defined:

# docker run -ti --rm fedora:rawhide mount | egrep '/run|/tmp'
/dev/mapper/fedora_cloud--qe--14-root on /run/secrets type xfs
(rw,relatime,seclabel,attr2,inode64,noquota)

The net effect is that

# docker run -it --rm -v /sys/fs/cgroup:/sys/fs/cgroup:ro fedora:rawhide
/usr/sbin/init

hangs with no output produced.

Adding -e container=docker to the command line shows

# docker run -it --rm -e container=docker -v /sys/fs/cgroup:/sys/fs/cgroup:ro
fedora:rawhide /usr/sbin/init
Failed to mount tmpfs at /run: Operation not permitted
[!!] Failed to mount API filesystems, freezing.
Freezing execution.

Only another --tmpfs /run or -v /run makes systemd actually start, and adding
--tmpfs /tmp makes the error

tmp.mount: Mount process exited, code=exited status=32
[FAILED] Failed to mount Temporary Directory.
See 'systemctl status tmp.mount' for details.
tmp.mount: Unit entered failed state.

go away.

From this point of view, the current fedora:rawhide does not seem to have made
running systemd easier.

This is with

docker.io/fedora rawhide d93e998fad14 3 months ago 250.7 MB

-- if there is some newer image somewhere, having a way to test it (name/tag)
would be nice.

[Bug 1250352] CVE-2015-5739 CVE-2015-5740 CVE-2015-5741 golang: HTTP request smuggling in net/http library

2016-06-06 Thread bugzilla
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1250352

--- Doc Text *updated* by Summer Long ---
HTTP-request vulnerabilities have been found in the Golang net/http and
net/textproto libraries. Request headers with double Content-Length fields do
not generate a 400 error (the second field is ignored), and invalid fields are
parsed as valid (for example, "Content Length:" with a space in the middle is
accepted). A non-authenticated attacker could exploit these flaws to bypass
security controls, perform web-cache poisoning, or alter the request/response
map (denial of service).

[Bug 1342329] [PATCH] Fix compiler bootstrap

Ian McLeod changed:

   What|Removed |Added

 CC||imcl...@redhat.com

If the general goal here is to allow a shared SRPM to work between
rawhide/Fedora and the CentOS SIGs, then I'd like to add an enthusiastic +1.
Having commonality for golang should help both groups up the stack with things
like docker and kube.

(Keep in mind that the SIG process is different than EPEL. RHEL packages can
be overridden and front-run the RHEL versions.)

To be clear, I'm not suggesting that a Fedora package maintainer is generally
obliged to make the SRPM continue to work downstream. However, that's not the
situation here. We have people in the broader community actively trying to
make this work and keep it working. I think we should encourage that.

Thoughts?
