*Hack In The North* is a student held hackathon organised by we, students of *IIIT Allahabad, India*. We provide a platform to students from colleges and universities all over India to explore, innovate and get into the process of building tools and software for real life applications. The hackathon exposes them to all the real life problems of software development including debugging, testing and making it user friendly. Last year, Hack In The North <http://www.hackinthenorth.com/> was deemed as the *biggest student held hackathon in India *by Mr. Vivek Prakash, CTO of HackerEarth.
