Why SO? This is not a code problem. Suddenly it stopped working. It is
some configuration issue, after the google cloud moved completely into the
new datastore admin console.

reproduce this issue. Immediately after deployment, even in some cases

successful, requests are appropriately routed to *module B* as expected.
Some requests, originating from IE11, seem to be go thru the cloud endpoint
static proxy (project.appspot.com/_ah/api/static/proxy.html).
