Google Code - Action Limit Exceeded
Hello, When trying to create a new project I keep getting the message below: Perhaps you can assist? I have not tried to create a new project in a few weeks. Thank you very much -Daniel Action Limit Exceeded What happened? You have performed the requested action too many times in a 24-hour time period. Or, you have performed the requested action too many times since the creation of your account. We place limits on the number of actions that can be performed by each user in order to reduce the potential for abuse. We feel that we have set these limits high enough that legitimate use will very rarely reach them. Without these limits, a few abusive users could degrade the quality of this site for everyone. Re: Google Code: Action Limit Exceeded
Mike thanks, the limit is no longer a problem. I guess 100 should suffice for a while ;) On Tue, Sep 25, 2012 at 9:02 PM, Mike Epstein wrote: > I have raised your project limit to 100. Re: Google Code: Action Limit Exceeded
Your quota has been increased since it appears you are not a spammy user and your projects do appear to include source. For the convenience of your users it would be nice to host code in a repository directly just hosting tarballs in the Downloads page. Re: Google Code: Action Limit Exceeded
Looking at your projects, a lot of them seem to not include any source code. It might make sense to commit your code to them, or decide you don't need to and delete the project, before requesting more quota. You may also consider creating umbrella projects for some smaller related libraries that may not warrant a full project of their own. I'm not opposed to upping your project quota, I'm just saying let's wait until you've actually filled out the quota you have. - Jason On Tue, Sep 25, 2012 at 2:59 PM, Joachim Metz wrote: > I'm getting a "Action Limit Exceeded" on Google Code. > Probably because I've hit the limit on projects per person: > http://code.google.com/u/joachim.m...@gmail.com/ > > I understand that you want to prevent misuse of Google Code, but can you > expand this limit for me. > Thanks in advance. > > Kind regards, > Joachim Metz > > -- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups > "Project Hosting on Google Code" group. > To post to this group, send email to google-code-hosting@googlegroups.com. > To unsubscribe from this group, send email to > google-code-hosting+unsubscr...@googlegroups.com. > For more options, visit this group at > http://groups.google.com/group/google-code-hosting?hl=en. > -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Project Hosting on Google Code" group. Google Code: Action Limit Exceeded
I'm getting a "Action Limit Exceeded" on Google Code. Probably because I've hit the limit on projects per person: http://code.google.com/u/joachim.m...@gmail.com/ I understand that you want to prevent misuse of Google Code, but can you expand this limit for me. 【google code】Action Limit Exceeded
I wana to Create a new project at google code. the problem : Action Limit Exceeded What happened? You have performed the requested action too many times in a 24-hour time period. Or, you have performed the requested action too many times since the creation of your account. We place limits on the number of actions that can be performed by each user in order to reduce the potential for abuse. We feel that we have set these limits high enough that legitimate use will very rarely reach them. Without these limits, a few abusive users could degrade the quality of this site for everyone. Your options: Wait 24 hours and then try this action again. Ask another member of your project to perform the action for you.
