Just wanted to share my experience: My primary experience has been in .NET (C#/xaml/etc.). My partner has background in C++, & java, and a bunch of related technologies. This is our first project together, as a company. The client wanted something that didn't cost much to host but was robust, so we decided on GAE. Later, my partner convinced me to go GWT. It was quite an experience getting up to speed on Eclipse, java, gwt, gae, nosql, etc. all at the same time, but I am pretty happy we did. It was great to see how user-friendly the tools were, and how easily one could get productive in them. GWT fits very well with MVP pattern. We were also able to give the client some basic cms functionality.
Here is the result: http://www.buzzversity.com I am a noobie in all this, but very impressed with the tech stack. Will be exploring more of all this. - Jose -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Web Toolkit" group.
