Thanks for your help. I got the project set up in Eclipse and I am able to
run the tests in there. I guess I should have checked the eclipse folder in
my search for build instruction...
Now I am finally able to continue my work on the patch.

I am currently trying to compile the GWT source and to run the test suite
for the 2.3 release.
On a clean checkout I see a lot of test failures when I just run 'ant test'
in the user folder. Interestingly, most of the JRE test suites are passing
