------- Start of forwarded message ------- I agree with TANAKA Tomoyuki: http://www.mail-archive.com/gossip@jab.org/msg00058.html - - just include mailto links so people can reply easily while browsing - spam harvesters can figure out how to pick addresses out of HTML comments and "security through obscurity" never works - they subscribe to lists and harvest addresses anyway - blocking spam has to be done elsewhere (at listservers, MTAs and MUAs). Suggest providing 3 buttons - reply to sender, list and both. Both can be done using: mailto:list@listserver?CC=sender@wherever?Subject=Whatever (Throw in "Subscribe" and "Unsubscribe" later plus URL to list FAQ - these will need per list rcfile plus input from users but above is all available now). ------- End of forwarded message -------
