Works again for new messages. > Can you remind me which lists are actively using the Archived-At feature? It is added to all public lists managed by TDF, i.e. to all @*.libreoffice.org and all @documentfoundation.org mailinglists. see http://go.mail-archive.com/YDDU2NX9f8BkG1iXDzJPWzrrgrY= for a more or less recent list. ciao Christian -- To unsubscribe, send mail to [email protected].

Okay, found the bug. On June 10th I made a change to deal with archives containing more than one million messages. A piece of code had decided that one million was a really big number and was starting to write scientific notation to some internal log files. Unfortunately my change was flawed and I've disrupted both the Archived-At database and sitemap entries for the last 20 days or so. I have hopefully corrected the code, so there should be good data going forward. Can you remind me which lists are actively using the Archived-At feature? -Jeff -- To unsubscribe, send mail to [email protected].

Would that be useful to you? When shorter URLs will be possible, we'll adopt them, but it is not critical for us. Most important for us is the gain in comfort. People have the message-thread in their local archives and want to point others to it. Now all they need is to copy the Archived-At Link, previously they had to go to the archive and spend time on searching/browsing the archive for the desired message (and often didn't bother to do so, and instead just wrote "has been discussed already, look it up in the archives" :-)). ciao Christian -- To unsubscribe, send mail to [email protected].

Thanks for the note, we'll take a look. By the way, there's a discussion about using a shorter URL. Would that be useful to you? http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg12770.html
