I don't believe so, Bryan. You might look into using AFM with NFSv4 up for the ACL's.

Valdis,
GPFS 4.2.2.3 will be supported with LTFS EE 1.2.3.0 when it is released on 3/31. This new release of LTFS EE adds support for AFM + LFTFS EE. If you need GPFS 4.2.2.3, then 1.2.3.0 is where you need to go.

a whole cluster and that way limit the effect it has overall. You can also specify a directory outside GPFS to write the snap file.

Upgrading the binaries (and building a new gpl) is typically what takes a bit of time per node, upgrading the file system is not a huge operation once the binaries are out of the way.

Take a look at IBM Spectrum LSF or Spectrum Analytics. The raw data can be
provided by Scale's perfmon data but the above solutions can graph and report
on it.

something like different storage pools. However, I would also echo the notion that metadata will make things much faster if you place it on SSD's versus spinning disk.

RHEL 6.8/2.6.32-642 requires 4.1.1.8 or 4.2.1. You can either go to 6.7 for GPFS 3.5 or bump it up to 7.0/7.1.
