And send us the output?

I have just installed gpgtools using the installer. I have Mac OsX 10.6 (snow
leopard) and mail version 4.5
I can set up a key pair in keychain access.
Mail now gives the option to encrypt and sign outgoing mail
But...
1. When i try to send an encrypted mail it fails - stating General Err
