Hi Sven,
You can also open the txt file with any text edit and highlight the key from
"-BEGIN PGP PUBLIC KEY BLOCK-" to "-END PGP PUBLIC KEY BLOCK-",
then right click, then "Services", then "OpenPGP: Import Key". See [1].

files. Could you try renaming your file to .asc
Also could you describe how you are trying to import the key file?
