I have tried PTP and USB mode...(I have the latest version). Is there
anything else I can try? I have a few of these I need t get working (as
well as hopefully one day GH4 and GH3 by Panasonic.

Hi,
I think you need to switch to another USB Mode in the cameras USB menu.
