Does v.clip have a problem or not work with latlon regions? I've been trying to
clip the gshhs coastline vector with a region and an area generated from a
region. In all cases, after half hour of running it comes up with an empty
vector and no errors.

Ticket #3487 was reported for 7.2.2 and now has a 7.6 milestone. It is equally
a serious problem for 7.4.2 (and all GRASS 7 version from 7.2.2 on). I don't

Yes pdal is a good possibility. But we neither yet have pdal replacements for
the lidar tools nor pdal in anaconda. I don't know which is the better near
term solution for lidar and which would be easier to to implement.

Hi Eric,
There seem to be changes in many of the patches (not just to point to
grass-74). Should these changes be applied to the 7.2 recipe as well? I can
reinstall an unmatched 7.4.0, repatch and try again on Wednesday.
