The UbuntuGIS link should be for ubuntugis-unstable instead of
-experimental, -experimental is used for testing purposes, most
UbuntuGIS users get their packages from -unstable like Ubuntu also syncs
its packages from Debian unstable.

Pre-releases like betas and release candidates are uploaded to the
experimental repository, after the final release is out and all
integration work is prepared, the packages are moved to unstable where
they should be in generally usable shape.

libgdal-grass still needs to be rebuilt with GRASS 7.0.5 in
ubuntugis-unstable (and ubuntugis-experimental strictly speaking).

On the main server I see this number of downloads:

Then we have all the mirrors etc. How many of those are actually
tested I have no clue.

database access doesn't work correctly. This is definitely a blocker.

Let me suggest to not postpone 7.2.0 forever but have 7.2.1 in mind!

It would be better to be fixed at the DBMI level. We can argue about
security aspects of this issue, but ability to enter unescaped
apostrophes into text fields is a must for any data entry forms.
The easiest solution would be to implement add_slashes/strip_slashes
[1], although prepared statements with parameter binding is the way to
go [2].
