Hi,
I have added a new script to the wiki addons page: v.colors.

It is just like r.colors but for vector maps.
You give it a vector map and data column, together with color rules like

I recovered QGIS as an alternative offer to the v.digit tool and played
a little with it last week. While I can create a new vector map using
the -n flag in v.digit and creating a new table in the settings-window,
I couldn't find a similar option in QGIS.
Is there any?

It would be cool for someone to try this idea:
Oh sorry, I meant GRASS 6.3. RC4, dating from Jan 15th 2008. Two more
thing appeared: r.to.vect did not produce a dbf file. When I wrote a
script as txt file with r.mask, there was an error message: r.mask
command not found. This happened under Q-GIS with the GRASS shell as
well as in GRASS.
hi,
what about v.edit ?

g.copy vect=roads,myroads

for line in `v.out.ascii tmp`; do
eval `echo $line|sed -e s/^/x=/ -e s/|/; y=/ -e s/|.*//`;
echo $line;
v.edit -t map=myroads
Hello List,
I would like to ask your help on several subjects.

I now have a pdf map from which I want to pull some vector data and

process. For me, I ran the command below and got a single-layer dxf
file that does not seem to be amenable to useful work in a GIS
environment. Would
