I aim to delineate landscape features -- especially water bodies -- from
Landsat imagery.
There was a publication where this was conducted with ArcSDE & Oracle at

My question: has anyone tried such a task with GRASS?

imported once a ascii-file, then i exported it to a shape-file. Then I
changed some values with QGis and now I would like to re-import the file
(shp). So I used the command v.in.ogr.

Cuando intento iniciar grass (version 6.2.3), me sale la ventana de elegir
