I had similar issues with fedora 11 64 bit.
I compiled the Grass 6.4 svn snapshot of the 15-08-2009 on a fedora 11 64
bit system. Everything went fine without errors. However when I open GRASS I

Thank you very much. I was looking at the error filtering with GRASS keyword
and I did not find that page.
I will check what they suggest and in case I will add the example with
GRASS.
I will keep here updated.

If you have a small region and you know, where the bridges are, I guess
fastest method is to do it manually.
Otherwise r.carve would do good here.
To find bridges maybe the gradient of hight will help (slope).

Weekly snapshot for generic linux and install it. It is not difficult, but

The issue eventually seemed to be that the column prefixes I was using were
too long. When I went down to using 2- and 3-letter prefixes, it seemed to

yeah, but unfortunately on WinGrass that menu item doesn't work from the
wxGUI. Same result if you type nviz at the
