[GRASS-user] Changing menudata.xml to include an direct processing

Greetings I'm making some addaptions in menudata.xml in order to have a few functions available more rapidly (for me). I wanted to have a menu-item (I know how to add it) that runs directly without opening any panel. This would mean that all parameterization would be in the xml. Is this possible?

Hi Marcello, Thanks for this response! After my post I also figured out exactly this method for doing it as well, although as you say would be great to have a one-liner. I will probably just write a little script that performs all these steps and takes in the relevant vector, cat, and raster

Hi Luisa, [...] I get r.example file in C:\osgeo4w\usr\src\grass-6.4.svn_src_snapshot_2010_06_12\dist.i686-pc-mingw32\bin but not where I wanted in C:\osgeo4w\apps\grass\grass-6.4.0svn\bin. How can I configure this in order to place the binaries in apps folder in osgeo4w? I've copied r.example
